I didn't know about this online review of arts and literature, but I like their mission statement:
Open Letters is dedicated to the proposition that no writing which reviews the arts should be boring, back-patting, soft-pedaling, or personally compromised. We’ve all had the experience of reading a review that sparkled—one that combined an informed, accessible examination of its quarry with gamesome, intelligent, and even funny commentary.
I think this review sparkled. And I wonder if Steve Donoghue always reads with a basset hound on his lap.

Nice! I shared the review on Facebook. I'd love to get a nice, sarcastic review like this one.
